General Information
The Institute for Labour Law and Industrial Relations in the European Union (IAAEU), together with the chair for Personnel Economics at Trier University, are jointly organising the 17th Workshop on Labour Economics, to be held on April 03-04, 2025. The Call for Papers can be found here.
We are happy to announce that this year’s keynote presentation on "Sick Leave" will be held by Nicolas Ziebarth (ZEW/ University of Mannheim). Furthermore, there will be a special session on counterfactual impact evaluation jointly organised with the Competence Centre on Microeconomic Evaluation (CC-ME) of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. While the use of register data is seen as beneficial, it is not mandatory. To have their papers considered for this session, researchers should explicitly state their interest when submitting.
The workshop provides a forum that allows scientists to network while fostering the exchange of research ideas and results across a range of fields, including labour and personnel economics, human resources, well-being, education, migration, inequality, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and more.
